Made of hessian (aka jute and burlap) which is a natural fiber derived from plants. The long, soft and shiny fibers are spun into strong threads that are then put to a multitude of uses. Jute is second to cotton in terms of production. It’s also referred to as the ‘golden fiber’ due to its color.
** Please note**
That because of the nature of the fabric, it will start out a bit stiff. The more it is washed the softer it becomes. Some customers have softened their poufs by letting it soak in hair conditioner before washing.
Also, the amount of lather that you get with the pouf may depend on the soap you are using. If the soap you use doesn’t contain sulfates (the chemical that makes it sudsy) then you may not get much later.
Easy to use:
Pull up wood bead * Open Pouf * Add soap / shower gel of your choice * Slide down bead until fabric forms pouf * Enjoy a good exfoliation *Rinse after use *Hang to dry
Machine wash (without fabric softener or bleach) once to twice weekly. Hang to dry (avoid use of tumble dryers).
‼️PRE WASH SEPARATELY PRIOR TO USE‼️ Some shrinkage may occur.
At the end of product life, please compost.
